New funding enables TfA’s vital work supporting disabled people to continue
Transport for All is delighted to reveal that it has secured a large grant from the Trust for London, with additional support from the National Lottery Community Fund and the London Community Response Fund.
The funding allows us to continue our important work to support disabled people in making journeys which are accessible, independent and inclusive.
Kirsty Hoyle, CEO at Transport for All, said: “This funding has come at a critical moment in our history and allows us to continue to fight for the rights of disabled people to access transport across our campaigning, consultancy and community strands.
“So, the next few months are an investment in our future, a focused period of internal development: building a new online presence, redeveloping our data ecosystem, a new membership scheme, the launch of our Pave The Way campaign and laying the ground for a new Hate Crime on Transport Project.
“Our information and advice line will be closed for a month to allow us to do some of this work and we may be a little quieter, but we will be back.”
The good news comes as we release a video looking back at some of the incredible work we’ve done already in 2020 to support our members.
