Make sure you’re registered
The 22nd of May (midnight) is the deadline to register if you want to vote in the General election on the 8th June. If you’re not already registered, click here to sign up.
If you’re concerned that you won’t be able to make it to the polling station on election day then you can still apply for a postal vote – click here and return the form to your local council. All postal vote forms must be returned by Tuesday the 23rd of May.
For voters with visual impairment, your local polling station is required to make adjustments to ensure you can vote. They must:
- offer ballot papers in a tactile voting format
- offer to assist you casting your vote
You can also apply for a proxy vote, which means you can designate a person to vote on your behalf. Click here for more information.
Please contact our Accessible Transport Advice Line if you need any help planning your accessible journey to the polling station on the 8th June.
