Every other year, Transport for All has our Biennial General meeting, where members get together to celebrate past achievements and discuss the challenges ahead for the organisation.

For this BGM, we will be gathering in the beautiful Shepherd Hall in Southwark, and hope to hear from some of our inspiring members about the work we’ve done this year for a more inclusive transport system. We are delighted to welcome Bolder Voices to entertain us: the political choir of older people, singing moving and beautiful songs including their new hit ‘Love That Freedom Pass’!

We are also looking forward to hearing from Mike Brown, TfL’s new Commissioner – an opportunity to question him and find out more about TfL’s plans for transport access.

The BGM is on Saturday 30th January – please register for the full details.

You can only attend if you are a member! If you would like to attend please email: membership (at) transportforall.org.uk and we’ll send you information on how to register.

If you would like to attend but haven’t joined yet – then you can join up here: www.transportforall.org.uk/membership/

Would you consider being a Trustee of Transport for All?

Do you want to be part of leading one of the capital’s most dynamic disability rights organisations?

We require particular skills and expertise to direct the organisation at a crucial time in our history. As a proud user led grassroots organisation, we particularly encourage nominations from disabled and older people.

We are particularly interested in people with skills and experience of finance/accounting, human resources, fundraising (including organising sponsored events) management, the business/corporate sector, strategic planning and campaigning skills.

If you would like more information on what being a trustee entails, then please do get in touch and we would be happy to discuss this with you.

Trustee election

If you are interested in becoming a trustee please return your nomination form by post or email by Wednesday 23rd December.

The board of trustees will conduct face to face interviews with prospective candidates prior to the BGM. After this interview process, those candidates deemed suitable will be put forward to be voted in by members at the BGM.
