The Patients’ Forum for the London Ambulance...

The Patients’ Forum for the London Ambulance Service has drafted a list of recommendations for changes to Patient Transport Service contracts in London.

The full list is made up of 11 key areas;

  • Quality – not cost
  • Vehicles
  • Staff Training
  • Eligibility Criteria
  • Disabled Patients
  • Accessing the Service
  • Communication
  • Hospital Discharge
  • Return Journey
  • Complaints Procedure
  • Transfer between hospitals

Transport for All fully supports these proposals for London’s commissioners and providers of Patient Transport.
