Transport for All is a Disabled people’s organisation that fights for the rights of disabled and older people to access transport.

Thanks for contacting Transport for All’s Access, Rights, Advice scheme. Our scheme is now closed for Christmas and will reopen in the New Year, subject to the latest COVID-19 measures.

Disabled or Older Person’s Freedom Pass, please call the Freedom Pass helpline at 0300 330 1343, their opening hours are weekdays 9am – 5pm. Alternatively, please e-mail London councils at

Alternatively, you can call Transport for London at 0343 222 1234 to apply.

If you want to apply over the phone, you will need:

  1. Have either your passport or driving licence to hand. You will be asked for the number to verify your identity and age. If you don’t give your passport or driving licence number over the phone you will also be sent a verification letter. You need to take this letter to the Post Office with the required documents for verification.
  2. You will need to pay a £20.00 charge. This can be done by debit/credit card over the telephone or in person at the Post Office.
  3. You will be sent a letter in the post. Send a passport sized photo in the return envelope.
  4. Allow up to 2 weeks to receive your 60+ Oystercard.
