Ealing Transport Action Group event – Bus Access
Wednesday 27th June, 2012 at 11am – 1pm
Elizabeth Cantell room, Ealing Town Hall, Uxbridge Road, W5 2BY
We know that complaints of bus drivers refusing access to wheelchair users, not giving people time to sit down, and leaving a big gap between bus and kerb are common.
Come and question Transport for London (TfL), local bus companies and drivers, and your London Assembly member Onkar Sahota (tbc) on what they are doing to make buses more inclusive and accessible.
Light refreshments will be provided. Please phone Transport for All on 020 7737 2339 if you’d like any info about travelling there.

Newham Council have recently announced plans to reduce the number of Taxicard trips that Taxicard members in the borough are entitled to.
Representatives from the Council will be coming to the meeting, and so we urge all Newham Taxicard users to attend so that we can put across our views about the effect that fewer Taxicard trips will have on our freedom and independence. You can find out more information about the council’s proposed reduction here.
There will also be an update on how transport in the borough will be affected during the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and we will be planning a Travel Audit action too.
Do email if you’d like to have the agenda and minutes emailed out to you.
Light refreshments will be provided. Please phone Transport for All on 020 7737 2339 if you’d like any info about travelling there.
