Transport Action Groups

Transport Action Groups

Transport Action Groups are local activists who meet regularly and take action for more accessible transport in their area.

Whether it’s meeting with councillors to win support for local door-to-door services; staging media stunts to highlight inaccessible buses or organising travel surveys, there’s a role for everyone who cares about disabled and older people’s right to travel independently.

Transport for All currently supports Transport Action Groups in five London boroughs:

Meetings include a chance to share news and information related to travel issues in London, sometimes the opportunity to hear a guest speaker, and campaign planning. They’re a good opportunity to meet other local disabled and older transport users in a relaxed and informal setting and improve the transport system for everyone.

If you would like to be keep updated on meetings of the Transport Action Groups, please email lianna [@] stating which borough Transport Action Group you would like to join.

The Transport Action Group Project is funded by Trust for London.
