Member Event – TfA introduces new series of member-only workshops

Added: 19 October 2018 | Updated: 16 November 2018

Transport for All is introducing a series of workshops and toolkits in order to support our members who would like to campaign locally about accessible transport issues.

Every day Disabled and older people have their lives restricted (or even become housebound) because transport services fail them. Together, we need to keep a constant pressure on decision makers and let them know the reality of travelling around London as a Disabled or older person.

We know that many of you want to do more locally but do not always know how to campaign; how to write to their MP, contact the local media or be active on Twitter. This is why TfA has decided to start creating a series of workshops and toolkits to help you break down transport barriers locally. These workshops will be organised on a regular basis (once every quarter to begin with).

The first workshop called “How to campaign locally to break down transport barriers?” will aim to give you some tips on how to run your local campaign step-by-step.

Following the workshop, we will produce a toolkit which will be sent to all our members.

You need to register by the 8th November, if you would like to come to this event (separate booking for the Pan London Mobility Forum.

You must be a TfA member to register.

It’s not too late to become a member and then to register for this event. After you have become a member, we will send you an invitation.

Note for members: An invitation has been sent to all our members by email or by post. If you haven’t received the information, please contact us.

We are looking forward to seeing you at this event.
